Michelle J. Weidner-Jordan, RN BSN
Administrator Originally from Madison, Nebraska, Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Methodist College of Nursing and Allied Health in Omaha in 1994. Michelle worked as a Registered Nurse in Norfolk, Nebraska before joining the nursing staff of Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital when the facility opened in 2002. Since then, Michelle has been promoted to the position of Director of Nursing in 2003, and most recently was promoted to the position of Administrator in 2006. Michelle oversees the daily operation and management of the hospital, while promoting the values of the hospital's mission and vision statements. |

Terry M. Steichen, MBA
Business Manager A Woonsocket, South Dakota native, Terry earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1997 and his Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1998 from the University of South Dakota. Before joining Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital when the facility opened in 2002, Terry was employed as an auditor by the South Dakota Department of Human Services, and as a Business Manager for a 320-bed state hospital facility. At Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital, Terry is responsible for receivables management, for securing hospital financing and insurance contracts, and for supervising the medical records, scheduling, coding, billing and transcription functions of the facility. |

Heather Herlyn, RN, BSN, MS
Director of Nursing A Lennox, South Dakota native, Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from South Dakota State University in 2002 and her Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from the University of South Dakota in 2004. Before joining Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital in 2009, Heather worked as both a Registered Nurse and a Nurse Manager for a major mid-western health system in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. At Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital, Heather is responsible for the delivery of patient care and the performance of all surgical, nursing and laboratory staff, as well as overseeing dietary services, pharmacy services, infection control and staff education. |

Matt Dvorak, RPT
Director of Physicial Therapy Services Originally from Harrisburg, South Dakota, Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Wichita State University in 1989. Prior to joining Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital in 2003, Matt has worked as a staff Physical Therapist and most recently as a Physical Therapy Director for two regional community hospitals. Currently, Matt directs inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services provided at Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital and Lewis & Clark Orthopedic and Sports Therapy. |

Materials Manager/Radiology Supervisor A Scotland, South Dakota native, Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Radiology from Mount Marty College in 2000. Before joining Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital in 2004, Michelle was employed as Radiologic Technologist in both clinical and hospital settings for area healthcare facilities. At Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital, Michelle oversees the ordering and inventory management of all hospital supplies and medical equipment while also supervising the facility’s team of radiology staff. |

Elizabeth M. Steichen
Accounting and Human Resources Manager Originally from Belleville, Kansas, Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas in 2001. Prior to joining Lewis & Clark Specialty Hospital, Elizabeth worked in public accounting in Kansas City, and in the private accounting sector for a nationally renowned healthcare management company based in Lenexa, Kansas. Elizabeth performs all of the accounting and financial reporting functions for the facility, is responsible for tracking costs and key financial indicators, oversees the physician credentialing process, and maintains all hospital personnel records. |
